We are seeking Concessions Cashiers for Northern Illinois University.

Principal Function

The Concessions Cashier is responsible for ensuring guests receive exceptional service by assisting at points of sale. This includes working at retail food and beverage stands and kiosks, with service styles including take-away, cafeteria, restaurant, or in-seat service.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service to all Quick Serve customers.
• Adhere to policies and procedures for processing sales transactions.
• Maintain quality and safety standards.

Qualifications/Skills

• TIPS or TEAM training or equivalent.
• Of age to serve alcoholic beverages, per state requirements.
• Strong team orientation and collaborative skills.
• Technology aptitude for POS and digital registers.
• Excellent guest service skills and ability to connect with customers.

Other Requirements

• Ability to work safely in wet, hot/cold, noisy environments; lift up to 50 pounds; maneuver in tight spaces.
