Job summary

Saint James Iced Tea, a dynamic beverage brand, seeks an Area Sales Manager to drive regional retail sales in Northern New Jersey. You will lead local market execution, grow distributor networks, and manage key accounts with a focus on store-level impact and brand presence.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of beverage sales, DSD experience, and proven ability to expand large and small format accounts. Strong organization and communication skills are essential for success in this entrepreneurial

Qualifications

• 1-2 years sales experience in beverage industry is preferred
• Experience working with DSDs
• Record of planning and executing sales strategies
• Proven ability to sell into large and small format accounts
• Strong geographic knowledge of the territory
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales velocities and distribution across all channels in the region
• Perform daily sales and merchandising calls at high impact accounts
• Build partnerships with retailers and distributor sales teams
• Educate and train distributor teams through regular work-withs and meetings
• Develop local retailer and DSD programs and incentives
• Ensure promo execution at store level and planogram compliance
• Participate in local/regional drives to meet market development goals
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels at distributors and retailers
• Monitor market and competitors to sustain a strong sales outlook
• Act as brand ambassador at activations and events
