Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking an Account Manager to sell and order products for customer accounts in the Bloomington area. You will act as the frontline liaison, rotate products by date, assist merchandising, and ensure items are stocked and available onsite.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, with a preferred bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant sales or customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of work experience required.
• Customer service experience in a retail environment or in a sales position being held accountable for sales targets preferred.
• Basic computer application and technology skills required.
• Valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, driving record within policy guidelines including no major violations within the last three years.
• This position requires you to use your personal vehicle during work hours with reimbursement.
• Proof of insurance covering business use is required at time of hire.
• Must be open to flexible schedule; may be required to work some holidays to meet customer demands.

Responsibilities

• Orders product at accounts on an assigned sales route; uses technology for order processing and inventory.
• Execute and sell big event marketing, pillar programming, innovation, and mandated features and ad activity.
• Builds, changes, and removes product displays and POS; ensure proper pricing and stock.
• Communicates account activities with the customer to ensure quality and timely service; collaborates with merchandisers and drivers.
• Maintains stock and merchandise in the beverage section including coolers and displays.
• Maintains end to end ownership of the account through appropriate action and communication.
