Job summary

Johnson Brothers Liquor Company in Rochester, MN is seeking a Sales Consultant in Training to support and service accounts in the Twin Cities area, including the Rochester region. The role includes stocking shelves, building displays, and following up after deliveries to service liquor departments.

The position trains new personnel who will eventually manage a sales territory, with responsibilities for sales objectives, promotions, tastings, and in-store service. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Work experience in the liquor industry is a plus.
• Goal- and results-oriented.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and prioritize work.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Reliable transportation with valid insurance and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Travels around assigned territory to service accounts.
• Check quantities of goods on display, cold box placements, in stock and service the accounts.
• Fills shelves from displays and back stock to minimize out-of-stocks.
• Develops and maintains relationships with customers.
• Communicates with Sales Representatives about buyer preferences, inventory, shelf space, and concerns.
• Builds trust with retailers, upholding Johnson Brothers values and providing strong customer service.
• Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
