Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year healthcare/administrative experience or equivalent.
• Equivalent combination of education/experience may be considered.
• Experience handling multi-line phone systems and patient messages is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures timely responses by following clinic protocol for telephone encounters and MyChart messages.
• Manages incoming calls, MyChart messages, and fax transmissions; routes to care team as needed.
• Acts as liaison between providers and UW Medicine entities and external partners.
• Reviews audit reports and communicates access-to-care trends to clinic leadership.
• Gathers information from symptom-based calls and routes to nurse triage as appropriate.
• Assists with referrals and letters for patients, insurers, and employers.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
