Black & Veatch Corporation in Wilmington, DE seeks a BESS Services Project Manager to oversee end-to-end project execution, including design engineering, permitting support, cost estimation, procurement, RFP preparation, bid evaluation, and commissioning. You will lead multi-discipline teams, manage risk, and ensure client satisfaction on battery energy storage system projects.

The role requires PM experience and energy storage knowledge, with opportunities to engage in stand-alone or hybrid

Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience with energy storage projects (BESS) for Front of the Meter (FTM) and Behind the Meter (BTM).
• Ability to guide professionals across a global organization and develop client relationships.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required; PE license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages services (non-construction) projects with varying complexity and potential revenues.
• Acts as Seller-Doer, obtaining new or repeat business from targeted clients.
• Leads proposal process and provides scope write-ups and budget estimates in response to RFPs.
• Develops and maintains relationships with energy storage industry technology leaders.
• Stays current on technology developments through investigations and conferences.
• Supports marketing and sales as an industry expert to raise brand awareness.
