Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design Battery Energy Storage Systems and related MV electrical infrastructure in Round Rock, Texas. You will collaborate with a team to interpret client needs and ensure deliverables meet standards.

The role requires 3+ years in BESS or MV power systems, and EIT certification with an eventual PE path. Proficiency in CYME/ETAP is a plus, with strong scheduling and multitasking abilities expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Renewable Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of experience in BESS, renewable energy, distribution, or MV power systems.
• EIT certification with the ability to obtain a PE license in the future.
• Experience designing medium and low voltage cabling systems and protection devices.
• Ability to organize, schedule, prioritize, and multi-task in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Design Battery Energy Storage Systems and related electrical infrastructure.
• Review or perform system studies (ampacity, load flow, short-circuit, loss analysis).
• Coordinate and monitor design, analysis, and progress of projects.
