Job summary

Moss seeks a BESS Electrical Assistant Superintendent for multi-state utility solar projects. You will coordinate, plan, and support Superintendents, contractors, and craft activities on large-scale installations, ensuring safety and compliance with design drawings and specifications.

The role requires leadership, travel, and strong coordination with engineering and field teams to deliver high-quality electrical work and timely look-ahead schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience working with medium voltage equipment and cable, installation of collection line construction.
• Experience providing support on large self-perform projects.
• Proficiency in the installation, testing, acceptance, maintenance, and repair of medium voltage cables.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the high-quality installation of electrical portions of the project, including the underground electrical collections system.
• Provide support in oversight of drawing, constructability, submittal reviews, and feedback with the engineering team, verifying that the quality of materials, equipment, and workmanship conforms to the specifications and updates of the contract document.
• Work with Electrical Superintendent and General Electrical Superintendent in development of project schedules and updates, and creation of 3 week look-ahead.
• Ensure work teams have the necessary resources and support.
• Help support quality control of work team, including self-performed and subcontracted work.
• Monitor Safety, Quality, and Efficiency of subcontracted work on every project.
