Job summary

Moss is seeking a BESS Electrical Assistant Superintendent to join our multi-state solar projects. The role requires coordinating electrical installation, supporting engineering reviews, and ensuring safety and quality across crews and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and at least two years of experience with medium-voltage systems. Travel is extensive, and the position is full-time and exempt, reporting to the Solar Senior Superintendent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with medium voltage equipment and cable installations.
• Experience supporting large self-perform projects.
• Knowledge of testing methods: Megger, TTR, Doble, etc.
• Working knowledge of electrical drawings, underground distribution, SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support electrical installation on large utility solar projects.
• Review drawings, submittals, and RFIs with engineering to ensure quality and contract conformance.
• Develop and maintain project schedules including three-week look-ahead with supervisors.
• Ensure resources and support for work teams; monitor safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Provide liaison between field engineers, contractors, and craft workers to ensure compliance with specs.
