Job summary

NorthStar Energy Solutions, headquartered in Grand Prairie, TX, seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead data center and BESS construction and maintenance projects. The role focuses on safety, quality, and schedule, supervising field crews, coordinating with PMs, subcontractors, and suppliers, and resolving site challenges to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in heavy electrical construction, at least 3 years supervising crews, and strong knowledge of BESS and data

Qualifications

• 7+ years in heavy electrical construction
• Experience supervising field crews
• Direct experience with BESS or data center projects preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and installation techniques
• Familiar with OSHA, NEC, NFPA 855

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction, installation, and commissioning of BESS facilities and data center electrical infrastructure.
• Ensure safety compliance and enforce safety protocols to protect personnel and public safety.
• Manage multiple field crews, providing leadership and performance feedback.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet milestones, deadlines and budgets.
• Review plans, specs, and drawings to provide clear directions to teams.
• Communicate progress, risks, and issues with clients and stakeholders.
