NorthStar Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Safety Professional to support data center construction projects across Texas. You will lead day-to-day field safety efforts and partner with crews, foremen, and leadership to drive a proactive safety culture.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in electrical construction and data center environments, ensuring regulatory compliance and robust safety practices on active sites. Travel is required and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction with a focus on electrical construction.
• 4+ years of experience working in active data center environments.
• Completed applicable OSHA safety training is required.
• Strong knowledge of job-site safety practices in electrical utility environments.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence field teams.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management tools.
• Must be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular field visits to assess working conditions and identify potential safety risks on active data center job sites
• Provide real-time safety guidance to crews, reinforcing safe work practices and mitigating risks
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and client-specific safety requirements
• Lead daily safety interactions, tailgate discussions, and crew check-ins to reinforce safety expectations
• Support incident response efforts, documentation, and corrective action processes as needed
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, and project compliance records
• Partner with field leaders, foremen, and safety teams to maintain a strong, proactive safety culture
