Job summary

WellSuited Talent is seeking a Construction Manager to support a utility-scale battery energy storage project in New Mexico on a 1-year contract. In this hands-on role, you\'ll oversee construction execution and coordinate with EPC vendors, OEM vendors, and subcontractors to ensure the project is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget from Notice to Proceed through commissioning and turnover.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction of utility-scale renewable or energy storage plants, with direct BESS experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Demonstrated field experience in installation and commissioning activities as part of construction management.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction management, tracking tasks and deliverables among the project team, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate, plan, and execute installation and commissioning of project equipment via EPC and OEM vendors and subcontractors.
• Manage relationships with EPC, OEM, and other project delivery and service providers as the on-site contact.
• Track project progress and report key performance indicators, including budget and schedule status.
• Administer and track warranty claims and contractual deviations from Notice to Proceed through Commercial Operation.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards (OSHA, NEC, NFPA).
• Support project migration from construction into operations with the broader project team.
