• Experience in construction of utility-scale renewable or energy storage plants, with direct BESS experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Demonstrated field experience in installation and commissioning activities as part of construction management.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction management, tracking tasks and deliverables among the project team, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate, plan, and execute installation and commissioning of project equipment via EPC and OEM vendors and subcontractors.
• Manage relationships with EPC, OEM, and other project delivery and service providers as the on-site contact.
• Track project progress and report key performance indicators, including budget and schedule status.
• Administer and track warranty claims and contractual deviations from Notice to Proceed through Commercial Operation.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards (OSHA, NEC, NFPA).
• Support project migration from construction into operations with the broader project team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Work with internal and external stakeholders and vendors to lead construction management, tracking tasks and deliverables among the project team, suppliers, and stakeholders
• Coordinate, plan, and execute installation and commissioning of project equipment via EPC and OEM vendors and subcontractors
• Manage relationships with EPC, OEM, and other project delivery and service providers, serving as the primary point of contact directing on-site execution
• Track project progress and report key performance indicators, including EPC, budget, and schedule status
• Administer and track warranty claims and contractual deviations from Notice to Proceed through Commercial Operation, mitigating risk and avoiding scope creep
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards (OSHA, NEC, NFPA)
• Support project migration from construction into operations in collaboration with the broader project team

What You Bring

• Experience in construction of utility-scale renewable and/or energy storage plants, with direct battery energy storage systems (BESS) experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Demonstrated field experience in installation and commissioning activities as part of construction management
• A broad technical base covering production, process, logistics, and design concepts for renewable and energy storage systems
• Customer-focused approach, comfortable using critical reasoning and judgment to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work on-site in New Mexico for the duration of the contract, with frequent travel as needed
