Ford Energy, a Ford Motor Company subsidiary, is building a state-of-the-art BESS manufacturing facility in Glendale, Kentucky. As a Controls Engineer, you will design, program, and maintain automated systems that support grid-scale energy storage production and ensure reliability across manufacturing lines.

You will lead root-cause analysis, mentor technicians, and collaborate with IT and Manufacturing Engineering to implement new equipment and process changes in a startup environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Maintenance experience, ability to optimize equipment programs and troubleshoot to root cause.
• Willingness to work across multiple shifts and travel.
• Domestic and international travel may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Program, modify, and troubleshoot machinery with Siemens SP700, Omron, and HMI screens.
• Manage servo, frequency conversion, and upper-level computer interactions.
• Support and troubleshoot robotic systems (Fanuc), including programming.
• Lead fault analysis and root cause identification to prevent recurrence.
• Establish preventive maintenance plans and mentor technicians.
• Support feasibility on product design changes and code updates.
