Ford Energy in Glendale, Kentucky is hiring a Quality Engineer to lead a new Greenfield manufacturing site focused on advanced battery systems. You will drive quality by leading a team, setting workstation targets, and implementing SPC and GD&T controls throughout design, construction, and launch phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; 0-3+ years in manufacturing quality engineering at automated facilities.
• Master’s degree or MBA a plus; strong problem-solving and data-driven mindset.
• Experience with ISO 14001, ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and quality systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead agile team to deliver advanced quality standards in a Greenfield manufacturing site.
• Establish/monitor quality targets at workstation level for each build phase.
• Manage SPC activities using control charts and GD&T to minimize variation.
• Conduct process audits to ensure compliance with environmental/quality standards.
• Identify and address quality risks via PFMEA and robust corrective actions.
