Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is seeking a Benefits Supervisor to lead the day-to-day administration of employee benefits and related services. The role collaborates across employees, administrators, vendors, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely benefits administration and excellent service delivery.

The supervisor provides guidance to the Benefits team, supports initiative and improvement efforts, and ensures compliance with applicable laws and district procedures.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required or preferred depending on the role.
• Two years of professional experience in human resources, employee benefits, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the day-to-day administration and continuous improvement of the district’s employee benefits programs.
• Leads administration of employee accommodations and disability support processes.
• Manages workers’ compensation program and return-to-work processes.
• Coordinates RFPs and contract management for benefit programs and services.
• Oversees annual open enrollment and benefits communications.
• Ensures compliance with federal and state reporting and deadlines.
• Monitors data quality and vendor relationships; coordinates with Payroll/Human Resources.
