Job summary

Ohio CAT is seeking a Benefits Supervisor to lead benefits administration, wellness initiatives, and related programs. You will supervise a benefits team, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with vendors and HR leadership to drive continuous improvement.

You will oversee the defined benefit pension plan, LOA administration, and annual benefits renewals, while mentoring staff and communicating open enrollment strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, HR, or related field.
• 5–7 years of benefits administration experience with leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• CEBS/SHRM-CP/PHR certification is a plus.
• Proficient in mandated benefit compliance (ACA, ERISA, COBRA, Section 125).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day benefits administration and vendor concerns.
• Partner with vendors and third-party administrators to deliver benefit programs.
• Lead the implementation of new benefit vendors or programs.
• Oversee the Ohio CAT Employees’ Pension Plan administration.
• Manage LOA administration with regulatory compliance and timely resolution.
• Document and maintain administrative procedures for benefits processes.
• Oversee monthly vendor billing accuracy and the annual renewal process.
• Drive wellness program strategy and vendor partnerships.
