Job summary

CFS in Columbus, OH is seeking a Benefits Manager to own the full employee benefits portfolio with significant autonomy and visibility. You will serve as the primary benefits subject matter expert for employees, leadership, and external partners, and lead strategic initiatives including open enrollment, plan enhancements, and vendor transitions.

You will influence retirement plan governance and wellness programs and partner with HR leadership on policy improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Public Health, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of employee benefits administration experience.
  • Experience with retirement plan administration or wellness/health programs.
  • Knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, ACA, and HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medical, dental, vision, retirement, disability, life insurance, FSA, HSA, and wellness programs.
  • Lead annual open enrollment, benefits communications, and new hire benefits orientation.
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, and related regulations.
  • Manage vendor and broker relationships, renewals, audits, and benefit program implementations.
  • Monitor claims activity, reconcile benefit invoices, and support budgeting and forecasting.

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
