Job summary

Synechron in Charlotte, NC is seeking a seasoned Benefits Manager to lead strategic planning, design and administration of employer benefits across North America. You will oversee retirement, wellness, disability, and insurance programs for ~2,000 employees, collaborating with HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal and business leaders.

The role requires 10+ years of multi-country benefits experience, CEBS or equivalent, and strong regulatory knowledge across Canada, the US and Mexico, with a focus on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Benefits Administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• 10+ years of hands‑on experience administering benefits, retirement, and/or welfare programs
• Demonstrated expertise in health and welfare, retirement plans, leave management, and wellness programs across diverse, multi‑country workforces
• Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements in Canada, the US, and Mexico
• CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) or similar certification

Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of all employee benefits, retirement, disability, and insurance programs, including mobility and relocation initiatives.
• Recommend and develop benefits programs aligned with employee needs, industry trends, market conditions, and cost considerations.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with brokers, insurance carriers, and third‑party administrators to ensure quality service delivery and optimal program design.
• Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, provincial, and local regulatory requirements across all three countries.
