Job summary

As Sr. Benefits Analyst at Coda Search│Staffing in Charlotte, NC, you will oversee health and welfare programs, ensure compliance, and partner with payroll, vendors, and leadership to optimize benefit offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive benefits administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Welfare and retirement plan administration.
• Experience with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer health and welfare benefit programs and resolve escalated issues.
• Manage Open Enrollment, benefit communications, system testing, and vendor coordination.
• Serve as primary contact for benefit vendors and maintain partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and cafeteria plan regulations.
• Coordinate Form 5500 filings, ACA reporting, and other compliance activities.
• Manage COBRA, HSA, FSA, commuter benefits, and related administrative processes.
• Review, reconcile, and process monthly benefit invoices, allocations, and reporting.
• Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate benefit deductions, life event changes, leave administration, and year-end reporting.
• Support administration and governance of the company 401(k) retirement plan.
• Identify trends, process improvements, and potential compliance risks requiring escalation.
