Job summary

Lockton is seeking a motivated Associate Account Executive to support Employee Benefits client engagements in Denver. You will manage a book of business, deliver strategic guidance, and help market, service, and consult with clients to design benefit solutions.

The role emphasizes building relationships with clients and carriers, coordinating RFPs, analyzing plan offerings, and mentoring junior staff as part of a collaborative team within the People Solutions Practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
• 5+ years of employee benefits client services experience.
• Strong working knowledge of group benefits and marketing lines of coverage.
• Ability to analyze renewal projections for fully insured and self-funded clients.
• Understanding of industry trends and governmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead servicing of a designated book of business for renewal, marketing, and client service.
• Manage client engagements and projects; align resources and expectations.
• Provide strategic planning and RFP support with vendor responses and reports.
• Interpret plan offerings to ensure adequate coverage for client risk tolerance.
• Influence client strategic direction and decisions; mentor junior staff.
• Oversee enrollment communications, benchmarking studies, and client materials.
