Job summary

Freeman Health System seeks a Benefit Specialist for Freeman Human Resources – West Campus to administer employee benefits, manage enrollment communications, and coordinate with vendors to ensure accurate deductions and timely information. The role supports FMLA and other leave programs and participates in annual events such as Benefit Bonanza and Open Enrollment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, experience with benefits or HR, familiarity with Workday and MS Office; PHR

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• PHR certification preferred.
• Experience with employee benefits or HR insurance is preferred.
• Experience with Workday and MS Office is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administers benefits per plan documents and regulations, including data entry and employee communications.
• Performs payroll/vendor audits to ensure accuracy of deductions and vendor billing.
• Assists with Open Enrollment, annual events, and FMLA and other leave programs.
• Acts as liaison between employees and vendors and coordinates with management on leave status.
