Job summary

Freeman Health System in Joplin, MO is seeking a Benefits Administrator for a full-time day schedule. You will administer employee benefits, perform data entry, and liaise with vendors. Responsibilities include payroll/vendor audits, open enrollment events, and FMLA administration under guidance of the CHRO and Benefits Coordinator.

Proficiency with Workday and MS Office is expected. Preferred qualifications include prior benefits experience, a relevant education background, and a PHR

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• PHR certification preferred; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with Workday and Microsoft Office is expected.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day administration of benefits according to plan documents and regulations.
• Performs payroll/vendor audits to ensure accuracy of employee deductions and vendor billing.
• Assists with Open Enrollment, Benefit Bonanza, and ACA requirements.
• Manages FMLA and other leaves of absence programs and communicates status with management.
• Develops and presents FMLA information and training for employees and management.
