Job summary

South Central Regional Medical Center is seeking a Benefits Specialist to support day-to-day administration of employee benefit plans across partner hospitals. You will assist with enrollment, inquiries, billing, communications, and records maintenance within Human Resources.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, strong organizational and communication skills, and confidentiality. A Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field is preferred, along with experience with benefits

Responsibilities

• Administer assigned employee benefit processes; assist with enrollment and changes.
• Respond to routine employee benefit inquiries; coordinate with insurance carriers and third-party administrators.
• Maintain accurate benefit records and documentation; process insurance billing and related transactions.
• Support benefit communications and educational activities; coordinate administration for affiliated hospitals as assigned.
• Monitor compliance with benefit plan requirements and organizational policies; escalate issues as needed.
