Job summary

Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando is seeking a Benefits Specialist to administer health, 401(k), ADA, and leave programs with precision and care. You will be the go-to resource for enrollments, claims support, compliance, and employee communications, ensuring a seamless benefits experience aligned with policies.

You will support HIPAA and ERISA requirements, coordinate with providers, and guide employees through open enrollment while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity in a dynamic

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR function.
• Solid understanding of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, PWFA, and 401(k) administration.
• Hands-on experience using HRIS systems, Workday preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary resource for employee inquiries regarding health plans, retirement programs, and leave policies (e.g., FMLA, ADA, PWFA).
• Facilitate the ADA interactive process, engaging employees in discussions to identify reasonable accommodations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies.
• Coordinate with medical providers to obtain necessary documentation supporting ADA accommodations, leave requests or other related needs, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards.
• Process enrollments, life-status changes, leave requests, and terminations accurately through HRIS and vendor platforms.
• Investigate and resolve benefit discrepancies, claims issues, and coverage disputes in coordination with HR and external vendors.
• Maintain accurate records and perform data audits to ensure compliance and data integrity.
• Ensure all benefit administration is compliant with federal and state laws; support audits and filings as needed.
