Job summary

Loews Hotels & Co in Orlando is seeking a Benefits Specialist to administer health, retirement, and leave programs with accuracy and care. You will handle enrollments, inquiries, compliance, and communications, aligning with regulatory standards and internal policies.

You’ll bring deep knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, PWFA, and 401(k) administration, plus experience with HRIS systems. A collaborative, service‑oriented approach will help you thrive in a dynamic hotel operations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR function.
• Solid understanding of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, PWFA, and 401(k) administration.
• Hands‑on experience using HRIS systems, Workday preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary resource for employee inquiries regarding health plans, retirement programs, and leave policies (e.g., FMLA, ADA, PWFA).
• Facilitate the ADA interactive process, engaging employees in discussions to identify reasonable accommodations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies.
• Coordinate with medical providers to obtain necessary documentation supporting ADA accommodations, leave requests, or other related needs, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards.
• Process enrollments, life-status changes, leave requests, and terminations accurately through HRIS and vendor platforms.
• Investigate and resolve benefit discrepancies, claims issues, and coverage disputes in coordination with HR and external vendors.
• Maintain accurate records and perform data audits to ensure compliance and data integrity.
• Ensure all benefit administration is compliant with federal and state laws; support audits and filings as needed.
• Lead benefits orientations and open enrollment presentations, ensuring information is accessible, engaging, and clear
