Job summary

McGohan Brabender is seeking a Benefit Specialist to design, implement, and manage employee benefit programs for clients. You will work with clients, carriers, and internal teams to deliver comprehensive benefit solutions and ensure service excellence.

New hires join the Benefit Specialist Academy with a structured onboarding path, hands-on trainer support, and gradual integration into Account Teams to strengthen client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Self-starter with initiative and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Support clients, assess needs, schedule meetings and take notes.
• Ensure compliance and review SBCs, SPDs, 5500s, and Wrap Docs.
• Prepare and present client meeting materials and collaborate on strategies.
• Manage relationships with carriers and benefit providers.
• Oversee enrollment changes and maintain accurate records.
• Leverage MS Office and benefits tech; follow Salesforce renewal workflows.
• Assist with quoting by gathering census data and guiding market reviews.
• Help implement new policies between carriers and clients.
