Job summary

McGohan Brabender is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Coordinator / Benefit Specialist in Dublin, OH. This on-site role joins an Account Management team to design, implement, and manage employee benefit programs for clients.

New Benefit Specialists will start in the Benefit Specialist Academy with hands-on training and a dedicated trainer for the first three months before joining an Account Team. Strong communication and a client-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Client Support: respond to day-to-day service issues and schedule client meetings; keep minutes and notes.
• Compliance: ensure client compliance with regulations; collect and review SBCs, Certificates, SPDs, 5500s, and Wrap Docs.
• Meeting prep: design, facilitate, and present materials for client meetings including open enrollment decks; coordinate with AccelerateGo communications.
• Vendor management: manage relationships with insurance carriers and third-party administrators.
• Benefits administration: oversee enrollment, changes, and terminations; address employee inquiries.
• Technology usage: utilize benefits platforms and Microsoft Office tools; follow renewal workflows in Salesforce.
• Quoting support: assist Account Managers with market reviews, census data, and presentations.
• Policy implementation: liaise with carriers and clients; handle installation paperwork and documentation.
