AP Professional Search is seeking a Benefits Analyst/Specialist in Rochester, NY to administer employee benefits and the 401(k) program. You will ensure accurate plan administration, compliance, and provide employee support while partnering with vendors, payroll, and HR teams.

The right candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years in benefits administration, including hands-on 401(k) work, with knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and related regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of benefits administration experience, including 401(k).
• Knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA and retirement plan compliance.

Responsabilités

• Administer medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, HSA, and voluntary benefit plans.
• Manage enrollments, life events, terminations, and open enrollment activities.
• Serve as a primary resource for employee benefits questions and issue resolution.
• Administer the 401(k) plan, including enrollments, payroll deductions, employer match, loans, distributions, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with retirement plan providers, recordkeepers, and payroll for accurate processing and compliance.
• Support annual 401(k) audits, nondiscrimination testing, Form 5500 preparation, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct benefits audits, analyze enrollment and utilization data, and prepare reports.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other regulations.
• Partner with benefit vendors, brokers, and consultants on administration and issue resolution.

The Benefits Analyst/Specialist is responsible for administering and supporting the organization's employee benefits and 401(k) programs. This role ensures accurate plan administration, compliance, employee support, and benefits reporting while partnering with vendors, payroll, and HR teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience with HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration systems.
• Strong Excel, analytical, organizational, and customer service skills.
