Moorings Park is seeking a dedicated Benefits Coordinator & Scheduler to join our team in Naples, FL. This role verifies insurance benefits, handles scheduling, and ensures staff assignments meet care needs while maintaining accurate EMR entries.

The position includes clerical duties, reception coverage, and collaboration with the Clinical Manager to ensure compliant, compassionate service to residents and partners.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written English communication required.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Verifies insurance benefits and secure authorizations when applicable.
• Schedules staff and manages overtime for consistent coverage.
• Enters demographics and schedules staff in the EMR per physician orders and agency policies.
• Performs scheduling of staff using the scheduling application and coordinates communication.
• Scans documents into the EMR and labels appropriately.
• Provides reception support and directs inquiries to the proper department.
