The role involves drafting plan documents, SPDs, and communications, with a strong emphasis on practical legal analysis and client interaction.

This is a hybrid position with collaboration across nationally recognized attorneys. Applicants must be licensed to practice law in at least one U.S.

Qualifications

• Active Bar license in any U.S. state.
• 3+ years of experience with tax-qualified retirement plans.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA and Internal Revenue Code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on the design, operation, and compliance of tax-qualified retirement plans.
• Counsel clients on ERISA, Internal Revenue Code requirements, SECURE 2.0, and evolving regulatory developments.
• Draft and update retirement plan documents, amendments, SPDs, and participant communications.
• Conduct legal research and provide practical legal analysis for complex retirement plan matters.
• Partner with clients to identify legal risks and develop effective compliance strategies.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
• Stay current on retirement plan legislation and regulatory guidance affecting clients.
• Manage multiple sophisticated matters while delivering exceptional client service.
