Responsibilities

• Interview applicants/recipients and determine eligibility for assistance and benefit levels.
• Process applications for SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, Energy, and other programs.
• Compute income/resource eligibility and ensure clients receive maximum benefits.
• Explain programs, rights, responsibilities, and refer to social workers as needed.
• Maintain records with integrity and respond to appeal requests and hearings.
• Collaborate in meetings, trainings, and policy improvement discussions.
• Perform related tasks as required.
