Job summary

DCH Health System seeks a Benefits Director to direct and plan day-to-day operations of group benefits programs including health, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement plans. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, program design, and ongoing evaluation of benefits offerings.

Responsibilities include vendor negotiations, data coordination, compliance, budget management, and leading benefits staff to ensure accurate processing and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field.
• SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP CEBS designations preferred.
• Knowledge of benefits contract language and federal/state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Research employee benefits plans and vendors to identify best value.
• Design, recommend and implement new benefits programs; examine plan designs and cost changes.
• Negotiate with vendors and administrators for best plans and rates.
• Coordinate data transfers to external contacts for services and premiums.
