Job summary

Capital One in Richmond, VA seeks a Principal Associate, Benefits Plan Program Management to oversee health and wellness programs, vendor governance, and plan administration for on-site clinics, dental, vision, mental health, and other employee benefits.

You will build analytics, monitor SLAs, support RFPs, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive improvements in benefits design and employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with H&W employee benefit plan vendor management.
• MBA or Master’s Degree preferred.
• CEBS or CBP designation preferred.
• 4 years of experience in H&W employee benefits for organizations with 10,000+ employees.
• 5 years of experience with benefits vendor management.
• Experience with benefits governance practices.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of statistical analysis.
• Solid business acumen, strategic thinker, and problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Own plan program management for on-site clinics and related benefits, building trust with vendors and partners.
• Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and PGs to ensure contract delivery.
• Partner with ESM to execute vendor management tasks, risk assessments, and data sharing.
• Manage on-site clinic staffing and access in vendor portals.
• Create analytics to derive insights and drive improvements based on benchmarking data.
• Handle program administration, change management, and testing with vendors.
• Own internal communications and intranet pages for plans with HR Communications input.
• Lead complex escalations and cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues.
• Support RFPs and RFIs for new or expiring benefit programs.
