Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Benefits/Payroll Coordinator in Omaha, NE for a contract-to-hire arrangement. The role focuses on managing union payments, translating payroll reports, and coordinating with fund administrators using SAP.

You will work with multiple departments and maintain accurate records in Service Now. The ideal candidate has payroll processing experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll and payroll processing.
• Proficiency in Excel and data entry.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving and research capabilities.
• Experience with SAP is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Remit union payments and reconcile general ledger accounts for US and Canadian union benefit payments.
• Research and process trust fund discrepancy correspondence promptly.
• Reconcile union benefit general ledger accounts and maintain accurate records.
• Manage assigned cases in Service Now and provide excellent customer service to all departments.
• Collaborate with co-workers and various departments to promote continuous improvement.
• Ensure reliable and consistent attendance.
• Support and participate in collaboration activities to implement process improvements.
• Perform other job-related tasks as needed or assigned.
