Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Certified Payroll Coordinator (Prevailing Wage Coordinator) to ensure accurate certified payroll reporting across multiple projects. You will generate, reconcile, and troubleshoot payroll reports while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.

The role requires collaboration with internal teams and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment and offers a hybrid schedule after onboarding, with a focus on timely and accurate reporting and strong customer

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a professional office-based role such as payroll or accounting.
• Strong communication with internal teams and subcontractors.
• Reliable and accountable with deadlines.
• Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiar with prevailing wage regulations.
• Knowledge of HR-related regulations.
• Knowledge of data entry and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Generate, format, and analyze certified payroll and prevailing wage reports across multiple projects using SAP, ServiceNow, LCPtracker, and other software.
• Reconcile and troubleshoot reported data to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Enter payroll data via manual entry or file uploads while maintaining data integrity.
• Use SAP to pull payroll information, report craft hours, and maintain compliance records.
• Monitor subcontractor submissions to ensure weekly certified payroll reports are received on time.
• Coordinate weekly assignments and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders via email and other channels.
• Develop and maintain relationships across management and departments to improve processes.
