Job summary

Rosecrance Champaign-Walnut is seeking a Benefits Enrollment Specialist to support eligibility and enrollment for Social Security, Medicaid, and related programs. You will coordinate with SSA, DDS, and other providers, gather documentation, and ensure timely entitlements for clients.

The role emphasizes accurate data handling, PCI compliance, and compassionate client service while collaborating with health and social service partners to speed access to benefits.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to quickly establish rapport with clients and providers.
• Computer proficiency and ability to use electronic systems.
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation.
• Attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with benefit enrollment and redetermination tasks.
• Coordinate with SSA, DDS, and other providers for entitlements.
• Gather and complete DHS/SSI/SSDI documentation for approvals.
• Collect identification and financial information for applications.
• Maintain forms for Expediting Entitlements program and PCI compliance.
• Develop evaluation tools and monitor program progress.
• Serve as main contact with partner organizations' directors.
• Maintain statistics and monthly progress reports.
• Coordinate peer reviews and support expedient processing.
• Handle client data securely and adhere to security standards.
• Travel with clients to appointments as needed.
• Comply with Rosecrance policies and code of conduct.
