Job summary

TrendHR is partnering with a healthcare organization to hire a Benefits & Leaves Specialist in Plano, TX. This temp-to-hire, full-time in-office role administers benefits, leaves of absence, compliance, and employee support across multiple states.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of benefits administration, solid knowledge of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, ERISA, and ACA, and experience with HRIS systems such as Ceridian/Dayforce.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of employee benefits administration experience.
• Multi-state benefits experience preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, ERISA, ACA and leave administration.
• Experience with an HRIS/HCM system such as Ceridian/Dayforce.

Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, HSA, COBRA, ACA, 401(k).
• Manage FMLA and other leaves; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Work with insurers and vendors to resolve employee issues and reconcile invoices.
• Maintain enrollment data in payroll/HR systems and support ACA tracking and reporting.
• Prepare required compliance filings and employee benefit communications.
