Job summary

Wallick Communities in New Albany, Ohio is seeking a Benefits and Leave Specialist to manage benefits, leave, and workers’ compensation programs. You’ll maintain HRIS records, coordinate with vendors, and support communications and enrollment processes.

The role requires at least five years in benefits or HR-related fields, strong customer service, confidentiality, and knowledge of ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, and ACA.

Qualifications

• Five years of related experience in employee benefits or leave administration.
• Knowledge of ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, Section 125 and ACA.
• Strong customer service and confidentiality.
• Experience with Workers’ Compensation TPA/MCO.
• Proficient with HRIS reporting and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Administer benefits programs, leave administration, and workers’ compensation processes.
• Maintain accurate HRIS records and assist with open enrollment and ACA reporting.
• Coordinate with vendors and monitor invoices and payments.
• Educate associates on benefits options and change in status events.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
