Farmers and Merchants Bank of Long Beach is seeking a Benefits and Leave Specialist in Lakewood, CA. This full-time role administers employee benefits, supports leave programs, and ensures compliance with federal and California laws while coordinating enrollment, data accuracy, and vendor interactions.

You will manage COBRA and ACA requirements, work with HRIS and benefits teams, and help maintain accurate records, processes, and reporting to support a positive employee experience.

Qualificações

• Five or more years of progressive HR experience, including benefits administration and leave management.
• Knowledge of federal and California benefits, leave, wage replacement, and employment requirements.
• Experience with COBRA, ACA, FMLA, CFRA, ADA, and related regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Administer employee health, welfare, and wellness benefit programs including eligibility, enrollments, and terminations.
• Support and coordinate leave programs including FMLA, CFRA, ADA, and related wage replacement benefits.
• Maintain accurate benefits records and HRIS data while safeguarding confidentiality.
• Coordinate annual open enrollment activities with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with regulatory compliance reporting and audits.
