Job description

The Benefits Leave Administrator is responsible for the administration and management of employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, short- and long-term disability, workers' compensation, and other related leaves. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws while delivering exceptional employee support. In addition, the Benefits Leave Administrator collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to manage all aspects of leave benefits and accommodations. The position is responsible for documenting and communicating any necessary actions to the appropriate party(s) and updating HR, talent relations and management, as necessary. The position follows all established procedures to provide a high level of customer service to all inquiries. The position handles sensitive or complex processes, and works closely with subject matter experts, as appropriate. The position also concentrates a portion of their time on the continued improvement of leave of absence processes, utilizing and leveraging automation and technology. The role is expected to leverage existing systems and analytics in improving processes and maintains responsibility for leading complex projects and processes in support of change in their area.
