Job summary

Perry Homes is seeking a Benefits Manager to own the benefits portfolio, lead a Benefits Specialist, and drive improvements to our self-funded medical plans. You will partner with Finance, Legal, and Talent leadership to ensure compliant, competitive programs and clear employee communication.

The role combines strategic direction with hands-on execution, including benefits committee leadership, enrollment planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive benefits experience, including self-funded plans.
• Experience managing and developing a direct report.
• Strong understanding of benefits compliance and governance.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
• A self-starter who takes ownership and follows through.
• Strong communicator who can translate complex benefits topics into clear guidance.
• Experience in a growing or multi-state organization is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, design, and administration of Perry Homes’ benefits programs, with a focus on self-funded medical plans.
• Lead and develop the Benefits Specialist, with clear coaching and growth.
• Lead the Perry Homes Benefits Committee, coordinating meetings and follow-ups.
• Ensure benefits communications are clear and timely for employees.
• Oversee day-to-day benefits administration, compliance, and documentation.
• Manage FMLA, ADA accommodation, and Workers’ Compensation compliance.
