Job summary

GetixHealth seeks an experienced Benefits Manager to lead strategy, administration, and continuous improvement of our employee benefits programs across U.S.-based locations.

The role manages self-insured medical, PBM carve-out, and related benefits vendors, with a focus on cost management and employee experience. You will supervise the Benefits Specialist and Assistant while partnering with HR, Payroll, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, finance or related field or equivalent experience.
• Progressive experience in employee benefits administration and benefits management.
• Hands-on experience with self-insured/self-funded health plans.
• Strong knowledge of medical and pharmacy benefits, PBMs, claims utilization, and cost-management.
• Experience leading annual benefits renewals and Open Enrollment.
• Vendor management with brokers, TPAs, and carriers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive benefits strategy aligned with business objectives and financial goals.
• Oversee self-insured medical plan and PBM carve-out in partnership with vendors.
• Analyze claims, utilization, enrollment, and costs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead annual benefits review, renewals, and Open Enrollment processes.
• Communicate financial and employee impact of benefit changes to leadership.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and vendor governance for benefits.
• Supervise Benefits Specialist and Benefits Assistant and coordinate with HR/Finance.
