Job summary

Smile Doctors is looking for a Benefits Specialist to administer team member benefits and leaves, maintain enrollment data, and answer questions about benefits, retirement plans, and leaves of absence. You will handle inquiries, keep accurate HRIS data feeds, and assist with open enrollment while staying current on laws and best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of benefits experience including system administration.
• Advanced Excel skills: VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.

Responsibilities

• Respond to team member inquiries related to benefits enrollments and leaves of absence.
• Maintain leaves of absence tracking and resolve issues as needed.
• Respond to 401(k) retirement plan inquiries related to enrollment and contributions.
• Maintain HRIS benefits module and vendor data feeds.
• Assist with open enrollment planning and execution.
• Administer medical, dental, vision, life and other benefit programs.
• Generate reports on benefits, 401(k) and leaves activities.
