Job summary

Gradian is seeking a Benefits Specialist to administer and continuously improve our employee benefits programs. You will support HR operations, manage HRIS data, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with employees, leaders, vendors, and external partners to deliver a superior benefits experience.

The role covers benefits enrollment, leave administration, payroll backup, vendor management, reporting, and communication.

Qualifications

3-5 years of progressive experience administering employee benefits.
Experience supporting leave administration, including FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation.
Experience with ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and related employment regulations.
Experience administering open enrollment and employee benefit programs.
Manufacturing or multi-site organizational experience.

Responsibilities

Administer the organization's benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, etc.).
Administer leave programs including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and parental/military leaves.
Serve as the HRIS administrator for benefit data and maintain data accuracy.
Provide payroll backup support and assist with reconciliations and year-end activities.
Manage relationships with benefit carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators.
