Job summary

University Health seeks a Benefits Representative to support the administration of all employee health plans, retirees, and House Staff. You will serve as a key resource, providing comprehensive information about benefit plans, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate applications and adherence to standards.

In collaboration with carriers and vendors, you will resolve coverage and claims issues, helping participants understand provisions and options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Two years of experience in Human Resources preferred.
• Knowledge of ERISA, 125/FSA, HIPAA, COBRA, and FMLA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports administration of University Health insurance plans for employees, retirees, and House Staff.
• Resolves coverage and claims issues with carriers, plan admins, and vendors.
• Provides courteous, timely, and accurate benefit information and assistance across channels.
