Job summary

Ace Electric in Valdosta, GA is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to administer medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) and other voluntary benefits. You will report to the HR Director and Talent Services Manager to ensure accurate enrollment data and vendor communication.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in HR/benefits, strong MS Office skills, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office. SHRM-CP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum HR/benefits administration experience
• SHRM-CP preferred
• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong MS Office skills; attention to detail; ability to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Ensures accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the Benefits Platform and provides vendors with accurate eligibility information
• Assists new hires with initial benefits enrollments
• Assists with annual open enrollments
• Assists employees regarding plan and benefits claims questions
• Processes qualified family status changes
• Responds to benefit inquiries from employees and managers
• Processes and administers all leave of absence paperwork including FMLA and disability
• Assist accounting with billing charges
