Job summary

HUB International in Columbia, SC is seeking a Financial Analyst to support Financial Consultants with monthly data, projections, and client deliverables. You will prepare and format financials, audit data, and assist with Stop Loss RFPs to support client meetings.

The role requires 1–5 years of insurance experience, Excel and MS Office proficiency, and a strong customer-service orientation within a fast-paced team. A college degree in Finance or Math is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of insurance experience.
• Life & Health license or licensing course within first three months of employment.
• Superior customer service and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Proficiency with computer systems, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
• Must be a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability or adaptability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

Responsibilities

• Completes initial level of standard financial deliverables.
• Assists in drafting technical sections of reports and presentation materials.
• Coordinate and manage Stop Loss RFPs with internal team.
• Prepare spreadsheets to display fees, premiums, total cost, and claims experience for clients.
• Meet the financial needs of clients in a supportive role during meetings.
