Job summary

Council on Aging Southwestern Ohio, located in Blue Ash, OH, seeks a Benefits Enrollment Center Specialist. This full-time, hybrid role supports individuals applying for cost-saving benefits, with funding through August 30, 2028.

Primary duties include assisting with applications, client visits, and data collection to ensure successful benefit outcomes. Candidates should have a High School diploma and at least one year in social services or customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and at least one year of experience in social services or direct customer service.
• Excellent computer skills including Windows, Word and Excel.
• Ability to learn new software and maintain client confidentiality.
• Interest in elderly population and Southwestern Ohio resources.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with COA staff and partners to support the Benefits Enrollment Center Grant.
• Conduct in-person client visits to assist with benefit applications and verifications.
• Follow up to ensure applications are submitted, issues resolved and benefits received.
• Educate clients on recertification to retain benefits.
• Document activities per policy and maintain confidentiality.
