Job summary

The Department of Economic Security in Phoenix seeks an Eligibility Interviewer to determine eligibility for Nutrition, Medical, and Cash Assistance. You will work on-site at 1111 East McDowell Road and provide compassionate help to Arizonans in need, engaging with clients and guiding them through complex programs.

Responsibilities include interviewing, data entry, and referring applicants to resources, all while adhering to agency standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in-person and by phone in a fast-paced office.
• Attend paid classroom training with on-the-job learning.
• Provide excellent customer service to families facing challenging situations.
• Collect information to determine eligibility for Medical, Nutrition, and Cash Assistance.
• Complete interview process by entering data across multiple screens.
• Adhere to agency standards measured by metrics, attendance and timeliness.
